Mr. Speaker, the main element is obviously the feminization reform demanded by everyone since, until now, there was only one woman in the National Bank’s scoreboard. There is now the obligation to have a third of them, as is the case in many other legislations. We are very happy to see this change happen.
There are also a number of essentially technical provisions. One of them is really important and concerns whistleblowers as the reform aims at non-discrimination in financial institutions that depend on the control of the National Bank. Every whistleblower who discloses information in good faith will now be protected against retaliation. This is obviously very important.
These are the two main elements of this text which, of course, our group will vote for.
