A European Directive allows Member States to exempt from VAT the assembly and rental of real estate.

The project that is submitted to us allows, in our specific case, to exempt from VAT the immovable property by nature in the context of the operation of ports, waterways and airports. This was unanimously approved by the Finance Committee.
