Rapporteur Michèle Gilkinet

I refer to the written report.

Leen Laenens Groen

Mr. Speaker, I had since understood that this would be the first point of the evening meeting.

The Minister would have liked to be present at this discussion.

Then I would like to ask the following.

Colleagues, I would like to open this treaty here as Mr. Tavernier wants to speak.

Fred Erdman Vooruit

Mr. Speaker, the government is represented and no one is registered, then Mrs. Gilkinet can still report on her report.

President Herman De Croo

Mr Tavernier wants to speak. Does he want to talk?

Anne-Mie Descheemaeker Groen

President Herman De Croo

He wanted to be present for courtesy. However, there are no speakers in the general discussion.

Yves Leterme CD&V

Mr. Speaker, as regards Mr. Tavernier’s presence, I think the recent past has taught us that Mr. Tavernier may be interested in a presence when there are no presentations. In fact, the opposite has often affected him. If Mr. Tavernier insists, I would effectively ask whether he is called so that he can be quietly present without being questioned.
