Like my colleagues, I am referring to this in my written report.

I would like to briefly explain the amendment. In our view, the text shows a mistake. The legislation on the deontological committee is adapted, but no right is granted to a third party to notify the committee of potential breaches in the field of deontology and ethics or of conflicts of interests by the public mandators. This seems to us to be a gap in the context of ethical responsibility.
That is why I submitted an amendment. It is largely similar to the amendment submitted by N-VA colleagues when the Federal Deontological Commission was established within the framework of the sixth state reform. Their concerns were the same. I assume that there has not yet been a force of change in them and that they still share those concerns. I count on your support for the amendment.
