The purpose of the text is to reconcile the linguistic role of the effective and substituting members.

Mr. Speaker, colleagues, my group can somewhat agree with the logic proposed by this bill. N-VA believes that we should question the preservation of language parity. We are in this country with 60% Flemish and 40% French speakers and we think this will translate into the workload. We will abstain from voting later.
