Tony Van Parys CD&V

I have not heard Mr. Muls, Mr. President.

President Herman De Croo

I too not. It is still happening, colleagues, that for certain bills a reference is made to its report. This right belongs to the reporter.

Tony Van Parys CD&V

Mr. Speaker, allow me, Mr. Muls has here last week, following the question-hour, heavily charged the CD&V group, because it would not have been represented during the hearings on the youth sanction law.

He was completely mistaken in that. He was probably only present for a short time and did not notice that the CD&Vfraction was properly represented.

I do not understand correctly that you say that Mr. Muls would now say that he refers to his written report, at a time when Mr. Muls is not here. Unless I am mistaken, I assume that Mr. Muls is not really present here at this moment.

President Herman De Croo

Mrs. Roppe, you are not Mr. Muls, but you have the word.

Annemie Roppe Vooruit

Of course, I am not Mr. Muls. Mr. Muls has indeed requested to refer to the written report because he is detained at another meeting. If the opposition agrees, he can be present here within three minutes.

President Herman De Croo

Mr Van Parys, you have been able to make your point and Commission Chairman Borginon has confirmed your presence in the committee that famous afternoon.

Gerolf Annemans VB

The reporter must be present, even to refer to his written report.

President Herman De Croo

I do not think that is a bad suggestion. I will postpone the point until Mr. Muls is present.
