Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Minister, Dear colleagues, given the very short discussion of which the bill under consideration was the subject of, I refer to the written report.
On February 19, the Public Health Commission unanimously adopted this bill presented by Ms. Onkelinx. This project introduces an emergency suspension procedure, but also in extreme urgency, for all health professionals when a serious risk threatens public health or the physical integrity of patients.
Deviant, intolerable behaviors of healthcare professionals that have become a topical one in recent years, it was necessary to act for public health in general and for patients in particular. Here it is the protection of patients, one of the priorities developed and defended throughout this legislature by Mrs. Minister, which we can only welcome.
