Mr. Speaker, colleagues, the current bill was transmitted by the Senate and the bill was added to the bill by Ms. Nyssens. The proposal aims to simplify the procedure of legal aid for judicial proceedings in civil matters before the Court of Cassation and, on the other hand, to provide a legal basis for the practice used today.
A discussion took place in the committee, with various interventions, and eventually the bill was adopted with 9 votes for and 2 abstentions, so that the added proposal of Ms. Nyssens came to disappear. Until then the report.

Mr President, very briefly. Both bills were unanimously approved in the Justice Committee. We are very pleased that we have been able to realize this small simplification with a parliamentary initiative. In fact, it was about a number of legal and especially practical problems that were raised by the Court of Cassation itself. It is about simplifying or accelerating the judicial procedure so that in a number of cases, which are apparently unacceptable, it is no longer possible to allow a complex consultation procedure on possible legal assistance.
Both drafts were unanimously approved and we hope to be able to lead some of these practical proposals by the committee in the future.

Mr. Speaker, I look forward to the adoption of this bill which comes from the Senate and which has become a draft. This amendment to the Judicial Code was inspired by the Court of Cassation.
I am happy for two reasons. The first is that the ordinary legislative work is resumed, which is good news. The second is that we are flooded with reports from actors in the judiciary world, which very often contain recommendations and suggestions for amending laws in order to advance the judicial organization.
What we will vote in the near future is a proposal from the Court of Cassation. Several parliamentarians submitted this proposal, some to the House, others to the Senate. I was one of the authors of a bill with the same object. I think this is just the beginning because a lot of suggestions are made in this report and so I propose to my colleagues to continue this kind of exercise.
