Mijnheer de voorzitter, ik verwijs naar het schitterend schriftelijk verslag. (The Applause)
Philippe Monfils MR ⚙
I will be almost as brief as my colleague. I would like to remind you that while the title of the proposal is very long, the text is extremely short and short. It just corrects an injustice.
As you know, in order to obtain a number of profits, including the refund of the moderator ticket, we took as the basis, for Korean volunteers, the 27 July 1953 as the date of the ceasefire. Now, we met with many former Korean fighters who told us that they continued to fight until 1954; they asked us to change the date. This was done with the consent of everyone. The date of the ceasefire is no longer July 27, 1953 but September 15, 1954.
A few hundred people will therefore be able to obtain the refund of the moderators ticket. This is insignificant at the budget level but it seems to me to repair an injustice.
That is why I congratulate myself, as well as all my colleagues, who approved it without discussion, the vote on this bill.
