Mr. Speaker, we are currently dealing with a bill amending a special law and a bill amending a law, both concerning the judges of the Arbitration Court. The draft laws aim to enable the judges of the Arbitration Court to complete their files up to six months after reaching the retirement age and to grant them their normal bet during that period.
Commissioners pointed out the parallelism with arrangements for other magistrates.
In addition, an analogous arrangement for referendums was envisaged in another bill.
Furthermore, I would like to point out that the text was amended to clarify that the law enters into force from 1 March 2001, which took into account an opinion of the State Council. The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to such a provision, emphasizing that the Government always follows the opinions of the State Council in terms of details.
Both bills were unanimously approved.
