I refer to this in my written report.

Mr. Speaker, although this is actually rather an administrative issue in which Article 21 of the GATS is eventually ratified because a number of Eastern and Central European countries have since become members of the European Union, the Flemish Interest will still abstain from voting.
We do not agree with the hypocritical attitude we adopt. This bill deals with the separate customs territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu. However, Taiwan is a sovereign and independent state and should not be treated as a stepmother. We must not let ourselves be blackmailed or intimidated by the Chinese Communists.
