Mr. Speaker, I keep it very short and speak from my bank.

This proposal deals with the maintenance obligation of children to their parents in the rest home. In short, the OCMW today has the option to either abolish the maintenance obligation or to recover the costs of the rest home accommodation, in whole or in part, from the maintenance obligators, in this case the children, through a uniform scale.

During the discussion of the draft law containing various provisions, at the end of last year, a discussion was held about the abuse identified by a number of OCMWs. Some OCMWs abolish the maintenance obligation, but are faced with elderly people who become disabled in order to allow their stay in the resting house at the expense of the state, at the expense of the community.

Through the bill containing various provisions, a stick was built behind the door, in the following sentence. Anyone who becomes impotent in the five years prior to entering the rest home may still recover the OCMW.

My proposal provides the possibility that, for those who become insufficient during the rest home stay, the possibility of recovery is also introduced.

In short, it consists in eliminating an additional possibility of abuse through that bill.
