It is clear that this is a very outdated procedure that is completely outdated. The discussion in the committee and the hearing during the previous legislature have also demonstrated that. However, I would like to point out that the abolition of that procedure is entirely separate from all existing procedures for the prevention of hypocritical marriages, which, of course, remain uninterrupted in force.
