Rapporteur Anne Barzin

I am referring to the report.

Yves Leterme CD&V

Mr. Speaker, in a way of boutade, I note that the VZW law is ⁇ afflicted by this majority. I see that in the Dutch version of the text this law is dated in 1927, while it came into effect in 1921. However, I would like to thank the reporter for at least being present at the discussion of this bill. It is a pity that the applicant is not there. It is a pity that the Minister is not there. I would like to point out this for a moment: on page 11 it is stated that it is the law of June 27, 1921 and not of

President Herman De Croo

Page 11, but which paragraph, Mr. Leterme?

Yves Leterme CD&V

The fifth, half the page.

President Herman De Croo

The law was slightly younger in the Dutch version than in the French language version, I see.

Yves Leterme CD&V

Mr. Speaker, I may take the opportunity to emphasize once again that I am beginning to find this virtually meaningless work before the plenary session. The reporter must be called, as well as the filer of the bill, and the minister is not there. What a caricature of parliamentary work! This is not serious.

President Herman De Croo

I called the Minister and he is there. So you already have two out of three: the reporter and the minister.

The Minister, Mr. Leterme wishes your presence for the examination of Mr. Lano, document No. 1951, amending the Company Code in order to remove the time limitation of the prohibition to exchange certificates. Ms. Barzin referred to her report, but Mr. Leterme probably wants to intervene in the general discussion.

Yves Leterme CD&V

In the Dutch version of the report, the year 1927 must be replaced by 1921. I appreciate the presence of the reporter, but I regret the absence of the applicant of the proposal and the minister. Our work makes little sense in this way.
