Mr. Speaker, for this draft law the urgent treatment was requested and it was discussed in the Committee on Business on 22 May 2002. This bill essentially aims to regulate the government’s gold share in Distrigas NV and in Fluxys NV, two companies that emerged from the former Distrigas as a result of the law on the liberalization of the gas market. At the same time, this bill serves as a vehicle to legally endorse the Royal Decree on the provisional coverage of the operating costs of the CREG. The bill was adopted unanimously in the committee.
