Yves Leterme CD&V

Mr. Speaker, in the committee it has been agreed that we would approve the bill of colleague Pieters on the correction of errors with regard to the traffic tax of vehicles under 12 tons load capacity, subject to a declaration of consent of the Flemish Government. That is why I come here.

President Herman De Croo

I had put the pope in the mouth.

Rapporteur Yves Leterme

I refer to my written report. In addition, I mentioned in the plenary session that there was an approval subject to a declaration of consent by the Flemish Government. It has lost six to seven months of time to notify the federal government that they have agreed to this bill which constitutes the correction of a material error. The Flemish government devoted an agenda point to this on Friday and an official position was taken. However, the Minister must inform the Chamber of which written documents he has received.

President Herman De Croo

Can we hear the position of the Flemish government?

Minister Didier Reynders

On July 7, the Flemish Government reached an agreement on the bill amending Article 5 of the Code of Taxes Equal to Income Tax.

Alfons Borginon Open Vld

I would like to point out a mistake made by the reporter. The Flemish government never stops taking a decision. He seriously considers his powers.
